24 Hours in My Story, Minute by Minute, and the Highlights Panic

storieshighlightsfypoverthinking

A chronological document of my story, timestamped for science:

  • 7:03 AM cone of depression: three slide backgrounds indicating “Monday Vibes” (it was Thursday)
  • 9:12 AM a poll. “latte or matcha?” (I voted latte AND matcha; we are not choosing)
  • 11:45 AM repost of a reel about deadline culture. tagged “felt.”
  • 2:30 PM one (1) confidently framed selfie with the caption “no autotune needed”
  • 6:00 PM two (2) blurry dog photos, aggressively cropped to be “candid”
  • 9:51 PM a link. to what, I can no longer recall. The mystery view-count will outlive me.
  • 11:58 PM goodnight slide. left on read by 40% of viewers, as is tradition.

The 3 AM epiphany: I posted all day and saved nothing to Highlights. Every story, gone into the aether like my will to organize photos.

“you live in the moment,” says my therapist. “you have no archive,” says my highlight reel (empty).

The algorithm blessed a single frame from 2:30 PM. I have accepted the one good hour. We move.
